What the Extension Does
The extension helps you capture video ads from supported advertising platforms (Facebook Ad Library, TikTok, and TikTok Ad Library) and send them to UGC Creator AI for AI-powered replication.

Permissions Explained
webRequest: Used exclusively to detect video file responses on Facebook and TikTok domains. No browsing data is logged, stored, or transmitted beyond identifying video URLs.cookies: Used solely to check whether you are logged into UGC Creator AI. No cookies from third-party sites are read, modified, or transmitted.storage: Stores minimal local preferences (e.g., first-time tutorial state). No personal data is stored.- Host permissions (facebook.com, tiktok.com, and related CDN domains): Required to detect video content and inject the "Replicate" button overlay on supported pages. The extension only activates on these specific domains.

TikTok Video Processing
When you click "Replicate" on a TikTok video, the extension downloads the video file temporarily within your browser, then uploads it to our secure Cloudflare R2 storage for AI processing. This is necessary because TikTok video URLs cannot be accessed directly outside the TikTok platform. The video is processed according to our standard content retention policy described above.
Extension Updates
The extension may be updated to support additional platforms or improve functionality. Updates are distributed through the Chrome Web Store and follow the same privacy practices described here.
